Well, there aren't many pipes made when you were born in 1954 B.C., but we managed to find one, you old egg frying coot!

Recently a buddy got in contact with me about a 1954 Dunhill that came on the market. Been wanting a Birthyear but every time I found one it usually ended up way over my budget. And, as usual, this one came available for a price I could afford.... but the timing was wrong... in the process of upgrading my lathe. So I had to pass, again. JimInks contacted three of my other friends... Bob Blood, Stormy (Jerry) and Jim Brown and the lop eared, bow legged, buck toothed varmits went together and got it for me... just because! Here's the photos, it's hell having a pipe that's as old as your are, but in better shape! And this is what makes the pipe smoking community better than 99.99% above and beyond other communities! Congrats on the new Dunny!

We were going to get Jiminks a birth year Missouri Meerschaum, but his birth predates their opening.

Basil,
Congratulations on the beautiful Dunnie! Jim was thrilled to be able to return your many kindnesses.
The guy they rolled to get it won't be able to give an accurate description because Jim, John, Stormy, and Jim were all wearing fishnet stockings, string panties, and light up bustiers that flashed "spank me baby!" when they clocked him.
So, you're safe.

Awesome! It's things like this that make me glad I started smoking!! Seriously though, I have found the pipe and cigar smoking community to be a truly giving and caring group of fine people.. Honored to be a member.

Congratulations on the pipe. I keep looking for a 1953 pipe of any kind but the closest I've found was a Kaywoodie Stembiter from the 1950s. On the other hand, I do have a Linkman Hollycourt Special made before they changed the name to Dr. Grabow.
