I am always curious to what hobbies and interests others have. Post up pictures too, as they are always better than text.

You asked for photos and that's what you'll get, lol. I love to crochet and love to try different patterns.

I am always curious to what hobbies and interests others have. Post up pictures too, as they are always better than text. Hobbies huh, Well I've had many starting when I was a very young man. I reckon the 1st was model building, then for most my life antiques and collectibles from telephones, electric fans, clocks, glassware pottery, pipes anything and everything not to mention model railroading and I reckon I miss it the most but, ended up selling most everything I've ever collected or had for a hobby off, even pipes. As time past I went back to collecting pipes and have around 425 of them now. And I reckon you could say I make pipes as a hobby also but, as most hobbies I get into I sell to be able to afford to continue with it. I won't show photos of them because most of ya already have seen what I make but, I do have a couple of other hobbies I've gotten into that I still have photos of. Here are some of the antique fans I use to collect and restore. This is a 1906 GE pancake fan (because of it's motor shape) with wall mount adapter and then a 1950'2 Emerson with custom paint. I also collected and restore telephones, 1st one is a Automatic Electric from the 40's and then a Western Electric 302 from 40'-50's, a Western electric 202 from the 20's and the mate to the Automatic electric desk set is the A-E wall phone called a Jukebox phone for obvious reason, then a Kellogg Redbar for obvious reason from the 40's -50's. This isn't even scratching the surface of what I use to collect and restore, my house at one time reminded people of a museum. Every room was done in a time period right down to fixtures and even what we cooked and ate with......except the food, tried once and had the runs for a week.

That's the Western Electric 202 with E-1 handset, it sets next to me at my computer desk and is one of my favorites also and is why it never got sold. You do some fine handwork there Ma"am also, although it may not sound manly to some but, I really like the large round one.

Thank you, Ron! The round one is my favorite too. I made another one in spring colors and a professor of chemical engineering (male) bought it last summer.

Great, it just goes to show that you can still be a man and like the softer things in life as well. Now were the hell is my parasol? It's raining outside!

My hobbies these days is listening to old time radio shows, watching lots of baseball (played baseball until I was 40), studying American History, writing tobacco reviews, and smoking as much as possible. My cats think my hobby job is catering to their every whim. it's not always true.

I sometime paint or draw, I caught this piece of Drift Wood in my Shrimp Trawl and decided to do a pencil sketch, wife wanted to frame them, another was a giant shell.

Rock and mineral collectors refer to themselves as rockhounds.

Used to be into magic tricks, card tricks specifically. Started to develop arthritis in my hands at 32. As it got worse, my card handling skills began to deteriorate so I gave it up. Nowadays I collect magician related ephemera. Some of my collection can be seen on my Facebook page. Just search for "Sam Miller Sunbright". Go to photos then albums. The album is listed My Magic Collection.

I've been a musician for 53 years. I put myself through college by teaching guitar and plying in wedding bands. Here are some shots of my guitars. I'm also a member of a local British car club. It's top down weather now so the backroads call to me. My 40 year-old MGB. Gees! John, you collect git-fiddles like I collect pipes. Looks like you're going to have start hang'en on the wall before too long. Some REAL nice ones I might add.
