Had friends over tonight and one smokes a pipe. I gifted him about a half pound of aromatics that I just can't smoke. The evening ended in a epic smoke of Mcclelland fragrant matured cake in a Northern Briars rox cut regal Zulu. Good evening all!

A busy and enjoyable day, chores at my parent's place, riding around, visiting a friend...my early retirement will come to an end soon, but it has its moments.
GH BB #2 in a no-name billiard from the UK provided all the smokes, including this one right now.

Last smoke of the day is Sir Walter Raleigh in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega with a black vulcanite stem.

It is a dog park, signs are for dogs so don't let Cricket smoke and you will be ok. About to light up rehydrated Park Lane Sherlock in a Joby Brandy. Community coffee, neat to drink.

My after lunch smoke is Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter with a black vulcanite stem. Listening to an interview with Phil Leslie, who wrote a lot of old radio shows, including The Great Gildersleeve and Fibber McGee and Molly (we named our cat Molly after Mrs. McGee).

I have already had a couple bowls of C&D Crooner today in a Nording Sailor. Don't remember which color, blue I think.I have now loaded the unstamped Canadian with my own Latakia mix. 60% latakia, 30% dark Burley and 10% bright Virginia. Topped off with a dash of anise seed. I have no picture yet of the pipe. It being new I'm breaking it in.
