My allotment of GH BB#2 is dry enough for smoking, so that's what's happening...in the Falcon, of course.

Sugar barrel. In the new MM cob. Listening to a Pipes Magazine podcast with Tom Eltang as the guest interview. Very interesting. My drink is Trader Joe's watermelon and cucumber cooler with some apple cider vinegar added. 98 degrees outside. Enjoying the shade.

Man, I'm a horrible person.Every time I get an estate pipe I clean the bowl out to a bare briar.I use a drill bit to ope the draught and clean out any build up in the shank. Well I was smoking away and got to thinking about the last time I really cleaned my pipes that I've had for years. Needless to say,I'll be a bit busy with it this next week. With the house to myself, not counting 3 dog and 3 cats. Any who, I'm going to light up a bowl of Nightcap and plan out the sequence for my endeavors.

lovely pipe!
Thanks, Dan only makes a few pipes a year I believe and something about this grabbed my eye. And it's everything I don't look for in a pipe, full bent, orange stem ....but it smokes great and one of the few pipes I have dedicated to just 1 blend.

My slothful ways were brought to an ignominious end while visiting my parents; it never ceases to amaze how much work is required to keep a garden looking good. Me being the worker. The Falcon filled with BB#2 never left my mouth.
Home to a bowl of Amphora Virginia in the no-name English billiard and a cup of French roast coffee.

I'm going to have a very busy work week ahead, so I'll be off line until the weekend. Have fun, everybody.
