1792 in a T. Christano Calabresi Metamorphosis Billiard. Still not sure what to make of this baccy....undecided yet to cellar, fine first 1/2 of bowl, then the Tonquin bean starts to be overpowering for me.

I enjoyed it so much last night, I decided to start today with more 1 yr. old LBF in the MM Diplomat Apple HW with a glass of ice tea.
The open jar smells like fermented fruit. The tobacco is wonderfully smooth & the taste is sublime!

Morning TBP Amphora brown in a Basil lumberman (TK). Community coffee, neat. I have two pouches of the "Brown" left from a purchase in the Dominican Republic a couple of years ago. As soon as I finish the "Red" I have jarred (it's about 5 years old and the flavor has greatly improved) I am going to open those pouches.
Today it is Amphora Full Aroma (Red) in a CG and Community coffee, neat.
Sounds like a treat. Enjoy OGS in a savinelli venere bulldog with modified stem. Ice tea with strawberries in it.

I've been busy today. Now is time for a pipe. I have Low Country Natural VA. and burley in a Blakemar Briars rusticated, saddle stemmed straight pot. I have learned how to pack this stuff, too tight it's strong and hard to puff. Too loose and poof it's gone on almost no time. A Medium tight pack will give you a mild and mellow smoke.
Happy Puffing!

Germain's Rich Dark Flake spiked with an 8% dose of Jewel of St. James Perique... a chilled deep spicy Zinfandel on the side... a loving toast to Riker no longer ever to be by my side.

The other day I put together about a 50-50 mix of C&D Black Cavendish and Dark Fired Kentucky. The black cavendish was almost flavorless, and the Dark Fired Kentucky was flavorful but too strong for me. Together they make a pleasing smoke. The Dark Fired Kentucky is now mellow to puff most all day. I now have that mix in s Blakemar Briars rusticated bent pot. It's like the pipe below but rusticated.

Three bowls in a row of Cumberland just wasn't in the cards. It started to wear my mouth out. No tongue bite, but I had to go eat and drink some stuff for a palate cleansing. Need something sweet now so it's going to be some C&D King Cake in an MM Mark Twain.
