Off work today so been getting some running around done. Me and Cricket on the patio chilaxing with some P. S. LBF in a Ser Jacobo Billiard. Pepsi-Cola. Well, if you are off work today, then I guess it's Bubba causing all the havoc in the Tampa Bay area. Hopefully someone will give him some perique soon so my friend can leave Miami International before too much longer.
Just in from the DSA after having the remaining few puffs of FVF in the beater cob.
Yep the little 💩 Throws a fit when he doesn't get his way.

Trying out some new English blends, starting with Peterson's Old Dublin. Whole another beast, still a bit overwhelming for me. Loving the taste so far, but boy, this stuff STINKS. Next time, I'm lightning this badboy on the porch and nowhere else.
I just opened the tin this afternoon, and let's just say, that my kitchen is still very "Dublin".

Bubba can be very stubborn when it comes to wanting perique. I think he likes to give his big brother Stormy some competition. About half way through this bowl of P&W #191 in a 1979 medium bend etch relief meerschaum lined TinderBox Arabesque with a black vulcanite stem. Enjoying going through the books a friend gifted me. Yea some days he's to big for his overhalls. OGS in a Peterson fermoy Rhodesian. Ice tea.

Jim, You smoke a lot of D&R, and my guess is it isn't because of price. The price is great, but I am not sure from the descriptions what I am getting. It's fairly obvious I like aros, though I smoke English as well. Can you give me a few hints of what they have to try? I can search all reviews, but I stand as good of a chance of missing something as seeing it. Also, is this stuff cut for cigs or something? Some of them do double duty as RYO (e.g. Three Sails, Two Timer, Winter Gold), but many are solely for pipe tobacco, and all do well in a pipe. They only have one English blend, which is English Hoopla. I've reviewed most of them, and the ones I am currently reviewing will be posted here in a long thread as a guide once they are done. I'm reviewing the entire line. I'm not familiar enough with your tastes yet to guide you. But, if you want to phone chat about it, I think I can better help you out. PM me your number if you're interested. Almost half way through this bowl of Sam Gawith Medium Virginia Flake in a straight smooth patent era 1952 Dunhill Bruyere ODA apple 806 B124 with a black vulcanite stem. Finally back with a keyboard again. I hate being short winded. Thanks, Jim. I do hope to talk with you in the future, but I did read many of your D&R reviews. Only considering two, but I want to buy up all the Corn Cob Pipe and Button Nose that SPC has in stock. I may put that in regular rotation.

A camel cigarette as I wallow in the mud under the Fifth Wheel fixing a bad water fitting. The wife has been dispatched to the hardware store so I get to cool off a bit.

Waking up with SG Chocolate flake in a Tilshead Prince. Coffee on the side. Watching Columbo. I'm still home for another week recovering from this surgery. Any suggestions for things to check out on Netflix would be greatly appreciated! If you like Cold War spy genre, the new German series: Same Sky is worth a watch if subtitles don't bother you.
