Welcome from Carolina..I lived in south eastern Michigan for over 40 years before I moved back south.Sure don't miss the cold. Whereabouts  ? I live in macomb county most of my life. I'm now up in chesterfield township about a five iron from new Baltimore. |

I lived a few miles south of Detroit.A small city called River View.Right where the Detroit river runs into Lake Erie.Some times I could hear the boats at night.Now and then my wife and I would grab a burger,sit on a bench in the park,and watch boats go up and down the river while we ate lunch.We never missed the 4th of July fireworks on the river.I really miss some things about Michigan.I'm country at heart though so I guess I will end my days here in Carolina.
