Since the topic of favorite blends has come up I decided to ask you folks about Russ Oullette's blends, both the Hearth and Home blends and his RO series. Russ is a genius blender, and some of my favorite blends to smoke are one's that he created.

Louisiana Red
El Niño
Anglers Dream
I also really like Russ' recreation of the John Cotton, Warhorse, and Bengal Slices for SToP.

Mine is a long list, so I'll just mention a few:
Angler's Dream, Viprati, Anni Kake, Louisiana Red, Virginia Spice, Black House, WhiteKnight, etc. Mid-Town Chestnut and Chatham Manor. Of course, like Sablebrush, Russ' work on the Standard Tobacco blends are all very high quality: the John Cottons, Bengal Slices, the War Horses.

In addition to the creations mentioned above that the great RussO blended are the older Larry's Blend and Ten to Midnight. His Acadian Gold series is pretty fantastic.

Haven't had any of them in several years, but I really liked AJ's VaPer, Anniversary Kake, and Louisiana Red. I do have some H&H Stogie from a few years ago which I found to be really great. I'd like to try the Firestorm and his other special Perique blends but I'm really leery about ordering from P&C anymore and stick to SP. plus $14 for a 50 gram tin is up there.
