It's EMMY season and I've been up to my eyeballs in screeners. We've had the first vote and the next round is coming up. I've watched some amazing productions like The Crown, House Of Cards, Victoria, Black Sails, Feud, Mr Robot, Graves, Berlin Station, Five Came Back, Narcos, and much, much more. The quality is staggering. Do you have any favorites that you think are EMMY quality?

Out of that list, the only one's I've watched are House of Cards & Mr. Robot. Since I wouldn't take time to watch Crap, they must be EMMY worthy! Another series I really enjoy is Peaky Blinders and Suits. We cut the cord/cable/dish over 3 years ago. Watch everything in our house over Roku boxes (streaming) over our high speed internet. Subsequently, the majority of what I watch is on netflix, hulu & amazon, as far as series/network type shows, thereby allowing me to watch an entire season in less than a week. Obviously it's a bit behind the curve, but it works for me and cuts out the commercials. Truth is that the majority of TV I watch is on youtube. I've subscribed to probably 100 or so different channels all tailored to my interests... youtube pipe community folks, aviation community folks, energy production/storage & electric vehicle community, etc...

With the exception of youtube, that's pretty much it for me as well. I haven't watched cable TV in 16 years. I have HULU plus, and Amazon Prime, and during the EMMY voting season all of the major studios assign us streaming rights to watch their content on "Academy members only" streaming sites. That's when I try to get caught up. I just don't have the time or interest to watch much TV anymore.

I used to think that youtube was just for kids. Nowadays it seems like a go to site If I'm looking for diy videos on pretty much anything. First used it to learn how to replace screens on iPhones. (I've done 4 now). Then to fix one of our LCD Tv's. Then it was to replace a step motor in the instrument cluster of my H2 that controlled the speedo. (Hummer's sold, but I still miss it). So, when I decided to get back into Pipes I started looking up things on youtube. Wow! huge piping community out there. Some of em goofy, but many of them with good content on everything from tobacco reviews to restoring/refurbing briars. Back to your post though brush, how long have you been part of the "Academy"? Sounds very posh and elite.

There are some that are worth watching. The Son The Last Kingdom Outlander Fargo!! Murder in the First Vikings Brain Dead Designated Survivor Speechless Genius Houdini& Doyle
We used to really enjoy the awards shows, but we have had to give them up because of the political crap. Still, nobody does it like Hollywood.

I watch very little television, and rarely go to the movies... recently I recommended "The Americans" but after watching a season, I withdrew my recommendation because it got pretty trashy... seems to be the ways a lot of productions go that I start watching.
When I do watch television, I typically open the Acorn app on the Roku and watch only British/ NZ, and Aussie tv seems more to my liking.

They promised to consider my request when they have the next planning session. I see that Britbox has at least 13 episodes. After I get back from a trip, I am going to activate the 7day free trial offer. www.britbox.com/show/Sherlock_Holmes_9651

I don't have cable/sat/or any streaming,I watch broadcast TV and then only select shows.Mostly reruns of shows I enjoyed the first time around. I do watch a bit of BBC America's broadcasts but I didn't see any titles I recognized.Good Luck with your voting.
