I think I've posted before about the excellent customer service I've received when ordering from Jayson Dagner's "Dagner Pipes".
Some of you know that Jayson started out a few years ago with a Youtube channel. He's not an overly sophisticated kind of guy and doesn't claim to be. He's down to earth, his videos are entertaining & you can tell he'd be a fun guy to sit and share a pipe with.
After amassing a large following, Jayson decided to start his own line of pipes. Since doing this he now has a line of briars, made in Italy I believe, and also has custom cobs made by MM.
I received one of their monthly marketing emails last Friday and decided to go ahead and order the Poker Sitter Nose Warmer sized cob from him.
Within 1 minute I had an email confirming an order and within an hour or two I had confirmation that the package had been shipped!
It arrived in the mail today.
Man what service! It was wrapped in one of their beer koozies (pretty clever) and included a hand full of stickers (my son likes em and has a couple on his pickup).
And, as with past orders, there was a short handwritten note on the invoice thanking me for my business. The last one was from his girl friend, this one was from his mom.

Jayson is a cool guy and was one of, if not the first person to try his hardest to contact the FDA on exactly what the Deeming Act rules were going to affect in pipesmoking as a whole. I don't have one of his cobs yet but probably will get one eventually. Glad to hear of the personalized customer service.

I have a couple of Dagner cobs. I didn't know about getting them directly from him. Nice pipes.

As some of you may have figured out, by the time stamp on some of my posts, I'm a night owl and often experience insomnia. Last night was one of those nights/mornings. Finally fell asleep around 5 to 5:30 am and was back up @ 7:45 . So, I'm on about my 8th cup o joe this mornin. Anyway, while I was up, not sleeping, I decided to break in the new Dagner. Loaded er up with Carter Hall. What a great tobacco, I don't know why it seems that I only smoke it when I'm breakin in a new smoker. After the first bowl, I let it rest a bit and then went to have another, only to realize that I was almost completely, entirely, unequivocally outta C.H. !!!! Not to worry, P&C assure me my CRS (cellar replenishing shipment) will arrive today. But back to the O.P...... This is a great little smoker from some great folks. It is the first nose warmer I've ever owned / smoked, and it took a little getting used to. It was odd having the embers and the smoke so close to, well, my nose. When I get home tonight I'll try to take a few pics of my new ccpad and post em. Dino

Congrats & Enjoy. The can cooler as a pipe wrap is a novel idea and is reminiscent of a Ebay pipe seller who shipped his pipes inside of custom cut and capped lengths of PVC.

LOL I used to ship rifle scopes this way but in this day and age I would not want to ship anything that way for fear of having a dark Suburban with blacked out windows pull up to my house and then a few black suited gents wearing dark Ray-Bans start asking me questions!
