This just in....... "After reconsideration by the board of directors of Briar Patch club international, during the classification review, it has been determined that Jiminks will now compete in a different class, going forward he will be known as the Sumo of smoke"I told him to knock off the high carb diet, but he told me to "Go fry an egg"...to which I told him that fried eggs are low carb.

Those are Japanese Kizamis, which I've heard are much like RYO finely shredded burley or Virginia. They smoke them in tiny little pipes called Kiserus with most all of them having brass bowls. Almost impossible to find the tobaccos and have them shipped to the US these days, but I'm not too sure they're worth pursuing at all. Some Japanese cultured in the know say you can just smoke Drum tobacco and it's pretty close to what they smoke.

I'd still try them, but I won't spend the money to do it.

My wife's nephew was stationed in Japan for 3 years. He still has friends there, he is state side for now after completing a tour in Middle East. I shall send him a note and see what I can do in possibly obtaining some. Inquiring minds need to know!

The secret is out... they test the edge on samurai swords by slicing flakes off plugs.
