People often talk about VaPers, but I was curious as to who likes what VaBurPers currently made. Mine include Savinelli Doblone d'Oro, Viprati, Director's Cut, Strang (if it returns as promised), War Horse Ready Cut, and Watch City Flake #558. What's yours?

JLR private reserve. It is a 50% Burley, 38% Virginia and 12% Perique.

Does Old Joe Krantz (regular) count? Yep! Good because I may have a few lbs of the stuff! Normally as a mix with Chatham Manor, but smokes just fine on its own as well.

Having just smoked DH Elizabethan for the first time a few days ago. And on my second as I write this. I'm trying to think about the difference between this and DH De Luxe Navy Rolls. I know I'll ruffle some feathers when I say this, but I so far prefer the DH De Luxe Navy to the Escudo.
I do like the HU Directors Cut very much. I really enjoy both the Samuel Galwith St James Flake and the Savinelli Doblone d' Oro. Telegraph Hill is enjoyable, but I'm only a few bowls in.
Again going to stir the pot, I like the Orlik Golden Sliced, but may lean more to IRC Slices. But neither one is something I will think about at work and say "that's what I'm smoking this evening"
I'm still a newbie to this, not even a year in, so who knows what I'll think tomorrow

There's no perique in Tilbury, though it'd be an interesting experiment.

OJK is on the top for me, though there aren't many blends that have Burley and Perique that I do NOT like.

Smoked some Tilbury yesterday with a pinch of Perique ... very nice!
I'm also going to try a little DFK in there this weekend.
Edit: One that I love that's not listed yet is GLP Triple Play ... top shelf stuff!

Viprati and OJK are the only ones I've smoked. Prefer Viprati, but OJK if I need a nicotine kick in the pants.

BS Charlie, whether intended or not, it was an arrogant comment. When I was in charge of people, thoughtful correction included explanation beyond snark, especially with NMFs if you wanted to bring them in the fold.

Excuse me, but that was not a slap down or arrogant comment. I simply was making an observation and offering education. Also, it was a reply to someone else's comment and not yours. You are the one being rude and confrontational here. I am here just to enjoy talking pipes and tobaccos with people. If I can't comment on a thread without someone jumping down my throat, then perhaps I am not in the friendly welcoming place that I thought I was.

Guys, everyone needs to take a little breath. I think the heat might be getting to everyone.
Very easy to take the written word out of context. Fire up a good bowl of tobacco, pour yourself a drink and relax. We are all friends here.
My interpretation of the above was simple... misinterpretation. Let's leave it at that and move on.
