Greetings, fellow gentlemen,
name's Bruno, 22 years old, hailing from the far away lands of Central Europe, Slovakia. I work as a technical writer, and spend more time than I'd like infront of a computer screen; recently, through Chris Carlisle's (Muttnchop Piper) videos and JimInks's tobacco reviews, I set aside the doubts and began my journey into pipe smoking.
I've been interested in, and occasionally enjoyed, tobacco for a long time, but having a grandfather who smokes 6 packs of cigarettes a day puts your tastes into question. However, those days are long past, and since coming across my late grandad's pipe collection (most of which only holds sentimental value), I delved deeper into pipes: and it seems that I've found something I quite like, especially after a long week in the office. I've been able to get in touch with the few pipe smokers who live in my area, and so far, it feels like coming home.
I hope to learn, discuss, and most importantly, enjoy my time here. From what I've seen, this community will be a great match for all of those.

My grandparents were from Slovakia and Ukraine..I remember my great grandfather smoking his pipe in his chair after dinner when we would visit on the weekends!
