...to qoute Riff-Raff from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Two new Doggies came with the mail (dang, I ought to be banned from Ebay....). The one on top was sold to me as a Lincoln, which it isn´t. Instead it has the name "Carlton" stamped on the stummel and a star on the stem. Well, it´s unsmoked anyhow, has a nice blast and came as a bargain too. The second dog is much more of a gem. It is an ASCOT "S" which was made by H. Perkins & Sons, London. Perkins made pipes for Dunhill as a private label and this one should have been made anywhere between 1960 and 1980. The deep blast is very distinct for London pipes of this era too.
