Hahaha, "different" is a very polite way to name it. Yes John, the bowl is just pushed on to the shank. The metal parts are all aluminum and I wonder how long this pipe would last until all the metal parts are bent or corroded. No wonder you don´t see them any more....

Yes Charl, there is a llot of metal inside the shank to act as a condenser.
