I'm a few minutes early on the East Coast, but I'll start off the month of August with D&R A.B. Rimboche in a smooth straight pre-transition Barling 313 T.V.F. EXEXEL pot with a black ebonite stem. I'm part way through this bowl already. Have enough left for a bowl or so.

A third of the way through this bowl of Rich Dark Flake in a 1984 black sandblasted straight Dunhill Shell 4103 Billiard with a black vulcanite stem. This will finish the sample.

I'm beginning August with a bowl of Greg Pease's Chelsea Morning. I'm sipping said tobacco in 'Dad's Urbino', a rusticated prince with an acrylic stem. My drink is Dunkin Donuts black coffee.

Drove in this first day of August with SWR burning in a Country Gentleman and Community coffee, neatly steaming in the commuter mug. It's a nice cool, low humidity morning in North Florida.

Not smoking anything currently, but am definitely looking forward to my first full Solar eclipse on the 21st of August. This month will be amazing as I have seen partial solar eclipses, but never a full one. The totality passes directly over Salem, Oregon. All my family will be here for it! I cannot wait! |

First full August bowl: Sutliff R-Blend in the Comoy Tradition 252 pot shape. If anyone else likes R-Blend, my suggestion is that you try it in a pot shape, if you haven't already.  |
