Couldn't sleep, so m'lady and I went out for breakfast, and I'm a quarter of the way through this bowl of Peter Stokkebye Pistachio (No.27) in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a silver band and a pearl brown acrylic stem. Watching The World is Not Enough.

Turned bitterly cold outside. Stormy's on his way and I've got the Burley ready.
Just stepped inside after a bowl of Mystery Blend in a MM Legend. Fresh cup of instant coffee on the desk.

I just set fire to my first pipe of the day: Chelsea Morning in a Savinelli rusticated rhodesian with a vulcanite stem. This was the second pipe I ever purchased back in 1997. Where did the time go?

peterd-Buffalo Spirit Re- your sig. As in all things I am no expert, but I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night. So... I heard (documentary) that Native Americans did not believe in land ownership. I sat and thought of that one night. We can't imagine it, but to be in a world traveling and NOT saying, so and so own this or that, that we all may enjoy or work, is something so wonderful, yet I can scarce imagine it. That there are people that do imagine or remember it makes me wish for a tad more wisdom. Sorry to open my keyboard-mouth, but your sig made me think and recall. ...very true...many tribes believed that no man "can own" what the "Great Spirit" has provided all his children...however, a number of east coast, Northeast, and Southeast tribes did believe in land ownership...ln fact, for the Cherokee, all a family's land and belongings were owned by the women... Interesting,,In the Norse culture Women were the land owners as well, the men kept picking fights and getting killed. Women have been on councils and had an equal voice as far back as 1000 AD,and child support has been enforced for at least the last 500 years.

Sitting here, just fired up the Savoy with CB original, and my driveway alarm chimes at me.Turns out to be Whitetail Deer moving thru the yard.A 4 point buck, and spike buck, two doe and a spotted fawn. They passed up within twenty feet of my window. The 4 point still has velvet on his rack. So with this in mind I will be smoking some "Country Gentleman" in my Friar next and follow that with "Great Outdoors" in my Randy Wiley Rhodesian.Turning into a real Good Day !

And the rains did come and will be here for a couple of days, if we're lucky. At least we're not dealing with this wet front turning into a hurricane as it's now given only a 10% chance of developing. There's another large disturbance also heading to the Bahamas or, hopefully, east of them, that has a higher chance of turning into a tropical storm or a hurricane. So, with my usual implacable serenity, I reach out for my first smoke of the day which today is more GH Top Black Cherry, in the Peterson SH Basil Rathbone.

I missed it serenity , jumping in and out of the forum this week, but I am glad your surgery went well. Hope everyone else is also doing well. Kept it on the down low, besides Zak your part of the second wave to get me off the pain meds and thru rehab. Thanks in advance for the thoughts, it means everything brother! Just think in a couple weeks we're going to meet. Where the dancing bananas emoji when you need it?? Cannot make up my mind what to burn and in which pipe, going to have to meditate so I chose correctly. Going to try to relax with the Anastasia induced hiccups that haven't quit since the procedure. Just getting by but will be fine. Thanks again all for the thoughts and prayers.

Sitting downtown with friends, sipping fine Nepal green tea, sharing stories and tobacco.
I myself had a bowl of Navy Flake in a rusticated Vauen Soren, and Peterson Irish Whiskey in aLorenzo Spitfire.
Work for the week is done, so Friday looms easily on the mind.
