Started off, as mentioned, with Comoy's No. 2 in a Shire Cobbit. The Comoy's, as hoped, is everything I wanted in a wine-aro,

I have heard in the HVAC business, if you can't fix a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you install!
Went to therapy, and someone there, cancelled the appointment, and I wasn't waiting an hour to be squeezed in somewhere, dammit! To start the day burned Lane MV-1000 in a Savinelli Champagne 121 EX. Same pipe, just finished my "Money Blend" now for lunch, have a great day

I honor my dad's birthday today; he would have been 100. He wasn't a smoker and mildly disliked my pipes, but bless his heart he was a great father. Now smoking Lane's Crown Achievement in the MM Diplomat 5th Avenue corn cob.

Now smoking Lane's Crown Achievement in the MM Diplomat 5th Avenue corn cob. My respect to your father. Mine would have been 93 this coming November. Part way through this bowl of Former Cross Grain Flake in an egg shaped medium bend smooth Burgundy colored 1985 Caminetto with a black acrylic stem. A can of Faygo Grape is my drink. Pretty good grape soda.

Dug through my desk drawer and found a partial bag of SWR. Loaded it in the cob and headed to the DSA. Enough left for the drive home in a bit.

Now smoking the last of my open stash of Watch City Flake #558 in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. Watching Gunsmoke starring the "other" Matt Dillon. Conrad was better in the role on radio. Hot and very humid here. Stormy must be brooding.

My respect to your father. Mine would have been 93 this coming November. Thank you, Jim. At my age the past with its memories sometimes seems to me more "present" than the present. It doesn't seem right when it happens, but inevitable. Anyhoo, the present now includes some Sutliff R-Blend in the Savory's Special Export 815, a large canadian shape.
