A particularly enjoyable pipe for the EGR/H&H mix is the Missouri Meerschaum Diplomat 5th Avenue corn cob, or most any other cob. There's something about these cobs that likes rougher pipe tobacco cuts.

Not far from finishing this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. A bottle of Mountain Dew made with pure cane sugar is my drink.

Just finished my second pipe of the day- My Bjarne Viking loaded with St Basil's Rasputin. If any of you Eastern PA or NJ guys have a line on where I could get more, I'd be in your debt.
First pipe of the day was Grey Havens in a cob. First time smoking the blend and I'm not sure where we stand of yet. It was something new. Virginia with a solid Burley presence. Aro prevalent in the tin, though very subdued in the smoke. A pleasant way to follow a substantial late-morning breakfast. Haha

Very happy to bust open this tin of Bagpiper's Dream after a few days break. Gonna pack it in the bent Savinelli Polo I was breaking in over the last few weeks... also watching The Best Years Of Our Lives. All in all, a proper evening.

Only one pipe so far today. 2+ year old Modern Virginia in the IMP MiniMeer. Now enjoying a glass of Merlot. Stormy has been hanging around all day and is expected back tomorrow. Hopefully he doesn't send that loud-mouth brother of his, Bubba. Rain I can take, but Bubba likes to make a lot of noise and show off his lightening skills.

Capstan Blue in an old Digby Briar and a homemade IPA. Happy National IPA day y'all. IPA is a touch overpowering but I am not really complaining.

Bubba's a real show off when he doesn't get his perique. Beats the clouds like a drum set. Now smoking Peter Stokkebye Bright Virginia in the first pipe Trever Talbot made when he went to France many years ago. It's a smooth straight Algerian briar Billiard bowl with a long Canadian stem, unbranded. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink. Watching the Mets manager leave his wild throwing relief pitcher in too long and they lost to the Rockies on a wild pitch.

When I got home from work today, I smoked a small bowl of G&H Black Irish X in a Dr. Grabow Royal Duke straight billiard. Drank a Diet Coke and chilled out in the air conditioning.

Good afternoon folks smoking Old Joe Krantz in a no name carved pipe. Picked this pipe several years ago and smoke it occasionally. Not sure of the age but guessing it's quite old based on the stem. Drinking club soda and lemon of course.
