I am working on a new storage system, mostly for the tobacco. I try to keep a few pounds of every one I like. Added it up recently to 100 pounds. Is the storage sytem you are working on called a warehouse? haha You've got more tobacco on hand than most B&Ms!

PhantomWolf You can't intrigue us by placing a Skeletor bust on your mantle and then not let us know the story behind it. Good eye, my friend! That Skeletor bust is actually a bank. I got it for my 3rd birthday from a family friend. I was afraid of it at that age, so my Dad used to call it Uncle George so I wouldn't be so scared. I actually had it before I knew what He-Man was. A couple years later, it was my favorite cartoon. Anyway, my stepmother recently passed away and she had set aside boxes of personal mementos and belongings for my sister, my brother, and I and when I opened my box old Uncle George was waiting. Funny how happy a little thing can make you.

Here's a shot of my running rotation storage. Here's a shot of my cellar storage. Here's a shot of my library. So glad to see all you other bibliophiles. I've been thinking I'm a throwback--i know so many people who have no books at all. BTW, redwinekline, if you're interested in Russian history, I recommend highly anything by Suzzane Massie, esp. Land of the Firebird and Pavlovsk. Almost nothing better than sitting in the library surrounded by books smoking a pipe. I love that you cellar your tobacco alongside your wine. Makes for a convenient trip. Yep, that was the idea. All things gustatory in one place.

I have it pretty bad. Probably 10-12 years worth on hand at my modest rate. I do gift out tins to friends often, which helps.

My brother is the only pipe-smoking friend I have, so I take him tins regularly. I don't see him hanging with the hobby to be honest.

Very nice collections and displays. All of my stuff is put away except for the pipes I'm currently using, so all you would see is stacks of pipe cases. Not exciting. But I do have a few decent pipes like these: 1926 Barling Montreal 1872 Barling Magnum 1907 unsmoked Barling Companion set 1907 Barling bent bulldog with steriling wind cap 1950's Barling meerschaum lined Quaint 1882 Barling bent billiard with sterling wind cap Pre-War Barling Quaint WW2 era Barling sandblast 1941 Sasieni 8 Dot Castello Occhio di Pernice Paul Tatum volcano Commissioned Scottie Piersel And a few other odds and ends...

Impressive lineup, Sable. Love the rich wave-like rustication on that WWII era.
