Found this at Bayou Tobacco in Baton Rouge. It's signed "Created by Akdolu" on the bottom.

A right proper pipe, for the seafaring type!
That is pretty cool.

Definitely a work of art. I'm not sure I could bring myself to actually smoke it, I'd be afraid to damage it, but it would make for a really unique addition to a collection.

Yeah...I had an awesome really old billiard that came back from Walker Briar works that I got from an estate sale...beautifully polished so slick, as I admired it in the garage it slipped from my hands. The shank break was clean, so I sent it back for him to glue it, and he did a great job...it is a great smoker, but it isn't the same after that. That was a dumbass move on my part.

The previous owner must have only smoked it two or three times. Took very few pipe cleaners dipped in Everclear to clean the stem pieces.
I got to smoke it at least once or twice...

Wouldn't that be hard to hold? I'd just keep it on a table and look like an idiot trying to smoke it. That's just the way I roll, yo.

Wouldn't that be hard to hold? I have seen quite a few pretty elaborate meers on the estate market that have seen a lot of bowls of tobacco....pipe smokers are a persevering bunch.
