Hello!

I'm helping an elderly family friend by trying to identify some of her passed husband's pipes. Below are a couple of the pipes. I'm really hoping you folks can help us out! We greatly appreciate all the help!

The top one is definitely Austro Hungarian, but instead of typically being meerschaum this one looks like a briar..it could indeed be clay, hard telling without holding it.

Looks like the marking is consistent with a crack, like someone used too much force inserting the stem, or with a stem that long, if it is pushed down hard, it could act as a prybar and make the crack.

The other is obviously a Peterson, it looks like it is stamped 2013..it does say limited edition 128 of 1000

Both, nice looking pipes.
