so, I won a lovely Savinelli De Luxe Milano with perspex stem on ebay. I thought it looked to be in pretty good shape but Nitehawk offered to clean it up for me, and I'm so glad he did! Come to find out, someone had shellacked it. He was able to clean off the shellac and save the lovely imprinting. So now I have a lovelier pipe than I did before, all ready to be broken in. I'll be sending my Amadeus pipes I got off ebay to him to to tune-up, one of them desperately needs a good polish, but it will have to wait until the first of next month, right now I'm saving every penny I can to take to the Columbus Pipe Show next week!
