Chicago Pipe Club Meeting March 12th

I hate to quibble, but unless you drive or are willing to let your arse grow roots on the seat of a Metra train this isn't a Chicago event. At best, you could call it, "Chicagoland" but Villa Park is quite a ways out of way for Chicagoans like myself.



That bright purple line I drew on this map is right about where Chicago proper ends and the suburbs begin. By train and bus, it would take me almost an hour and a half just to get to the border.

Fair enough, nevermind me. I'm just grumpy, as usual. It's really annoying for someone living in the city who is totally dependent on public transportation to see a really exciting event happening presumably in the city and then learn that it isn't actually in the city, but in a suburb.
