When you've been driving for almost 60 years (as I have). If you remember back you've probably owned several vehicles.Over the years I've allowed smoking in mine.Especially my wife who is a cigarette smoker. I've endured smoke in a confined space that makes me cough and sneeze, burn holes in my seats and carpet, dirty ash trays and a windshield that's so smoked up it was hard to see through good. When I bought this SUV I told everyone that there was no smoking allowed in it.At first I encountered resistance but I stuck to my guns. That was 4 years ago and I still don't allow smoking in my SUV.There's a price to pay for that though.Every time we go to lunch or shopping I have wait for her to smoke before we go in.Then when we come out I have to wait for her to smoke before she gets in the SUV to come home..As the title of this post says.....Constantly Waiting

Smoking lamp lit in my 2007 Prius as I'll keep it until it gives up the ghost. No smoking in my 2016 Ford F-150 as I'm not sure I'll keep this one.

I kinda wish I had an old beater that would not make a difference whether I smoked in it or not.

I allow smoking in my truck but I rarely smoke in it; I'm afraid I will set myself on fire. Just not coordinated enough I guess.

To all the guys that have a wife, woman, girlfriend to wait on, consider yourselves lucky, a very good Friend of mine, lost his job, wife of almost 30 yrs left him, we need to ponder, I believe if my wife was a smoker and lit one up in my Truck, I would not say a damn thing, wouldn't like it, but she's paid her dues and that's that. Drink your coffe this morning, fire up and ponder the good things of your life, no matter hoe small. That's my sermon for today I'm feeling for my Buddy.

Hopefully things look up. Yesterday was my wife and I's 7th anniversary and sadly we were so busy the last couple days we forgot it all day and both realized last night. We'll probably have a dinner tonight.
