Good day folks, I broke my Ashton Estate pipe and I am looking to replace it in my rotation. I am eyeing up a Peterson Craftsman pipe. I have had bad luck with recent Peterson regular production pipes. All gurgle and smoke a bit warm. Except my Sherlock Holmes which is a champ. Anyone with experience with the Craftsman line? Are these just a fancy rendition of the regular line? I feel like the Sherlock Holmes pipes are made with better briar and experienced builders. I like the Peterson looks but it has to smoke well.
