so, hubby got a smoker. it had been in layaway and i made the final payment while he was at annual training, so when he got back he had to use it. we had fish, which was really good.
today, he wanted to use it again, so this time we did steak. I marinated it in porter, then peppered it and put it in the smoker. I steamed the veggies. Yummy!

i'm not sure, it was on sale at Kmart and since they have layaway, that's what we went with. however, hubby is already talking upgrade. it is kind of small, had to do those steaks in three batches. i will have to get a photo of it to post.

Yay brussel sprouts! I love those things, and those look all buttery.
brussel sprouts are tricky -- you gotta get the small, tender ones so they aren't bitter. light butter sauce with sea salt and cracked pepper. when i fix my specialty I put them in with porter and they get a really good flavor
