Got these for 3$ a lb , 50 lbs in all, young couple last night caught them. A small boat has 2 nets on each side, square metal frame with a net attached to it, outside metal bar has a foot going down like an oversized ski, they buck the current going out in the bay , shrimp spawning in marsh heading from the Bay's out to Gulf. At night it's like a little city with the Skimers. Avacodo Shrimp Salad tonight.

Yep, got 24 bags with about 42 shrimp in them. Now the kids will visit my freezer in the Barn. HaHa

Why Nitecap of Course. Next week I will make a French Bread 1 lb loaf in our Bread Machine. Then I will cut the top off, take the bread inside out and make a Shrimp Étouffée , ladle it in the bread, serving plates withthe white bread laying in them. The loaf full of Étouffée is such a Beautiful Presentation. I sometimes do this with Crab meat.

The last time I had some was in 'gator country at some little place in the swamp. A married couple that I used to run with hauling freight took me there and I don't know the name of the place or where it was at. All I know it was miles off the interstate along some goat path and out of nowhere this nondescript building appears with a gravel parking lot full of cars and in the back was room for maybe 10 trucks. We went in, had a dinner that couldn't be beat,napped in our trucks for few hours and left in pitch dark. I kinda think that was on purpose so I could never again find the place!
