Already have the 320, as well as the Lumberman, the 320 see A LOT more useage. May need to break out my Lumberman now that you mentioned it. |

Unfinished Savs are incredible bang for buck. I colored my 2012 Lumberman with Carnuba wax,use a Zippo on it and overnight Nivea Creme treatments to keep the rim clean, no worries. I wear the 19 fills like a badge of courage as it's a sweet smoker.

My Unfinished 320KS is a great smoker. It has a few fills, but I don't care. It beats having a perfect grain with no fills that doesn't smoke well, and there are a few of those around.

My 10 year old Unfinished Oom Paul has 2 fills and they are like two chevrons on the left side of the bowl. Smokes decent and has colored nicely in a decade.
I have always wondered if Unfinished pipes are chosen from the get go as flawed blocks or if they are other model lines that got rejected during the manufacturing process.

I've read that flaws can be hidden inside the block and found when the block is cut into.I talked to a pipe maker at a show once.He only makes flawless high grade pipes.He said that he averages using about 1 in 4 blocks that he cuts.

Flake, one tin of Savineli 140, and a tin of Capstan Blue for $2.18. I think I did well!! Jim, that stuff sounds really good. I looked on TR and it says it's made by C&D. Do you know if it's the same blend as their Sansepolcro? |

Though not my biggest order with any toby co., I just placed my biggest order with P&C thanks to seeing Mark's post early, my monthly hitting the bank, and the wife being out of the room for a half hour.
I love my Rossi 8320 enough that I would buy another similar one but, as stated, they were out of that style. The Big Ben deals were out of Bulldogs. It's more about tobacco with me.
I've complained all over the Net about the Savinelli Bing having a bent stem, but I really like the look so much and can imagine the feel that it might be my next pipe order.
It's already the morrow, so sale ends at 11:59 tonight.
