There's a new pipe show set for Dallas October 7th. Anyone going. I hate going to Dallas, but I could be persuaded if some friends were there.

It's in Fort Worth but, yeah that's next door to Dallas and this is one I'm looking forward to going to.
It's a bit of a trip for me but, it's the closest one so far and I've never been to a pipe show because there always just too far, so it'll be the 1st.
Sadly I'll only be able to stay a day at most and I'm not sure what day will be better to go. Really looking forward to seeing
Ryan Alden again, he only lives down the road from me but, we don't get to visit much because it's hard on me to make the trip to his place
even, that and he's always pretty busy making pipes to spare much time for visiting and chew'en the fat.

We were discussing some of the details for the show at the pipe club meeting yesterday. There will be a raffle held at 5 PM with proceeds to be donated to a charity to help out victims of hurricane Harvey. I heard there are a LOT of people in the pipe community from all over the US donating pipes & stuff for the raffle, so make sure you get a few tickets. I am donating a pipe rack & I'll have a table with some pipe stands/racks for sale. I hope to see y'all there.

If Amy can sell a house and get me some money, I'll be there. I don't know if that'll happen in time though. Thanks for the link; their website looks pretty slick. It would be awesome to see Ryan again, and of course I'd love to meet RD! Sell a house, Amy  |
