I've had two in my regular rotation for a while, Mac Baren Vanilla Cream and Boswell Pennsylvania Dutch Treat. A lot of other good ones out there.

While not a true aromatic I would say Amphora brown.

Casey Jones Last Ride. I still like Blood Red Moon, but it is wetter than Last Ride and doesn't taste quite as good to me. Have heard great things about Sutliff's Great Outdoors, including your review, Jim. I will be ordering some.

It's Corn Cob Pipe and Button Nose, but could never be an all day smoke, but daily or every other day. I think Comoy's Cask #2 works, but I have had some early allergy issues and that might change in cooler weather.
Jim, if Burl Ives had a tobacco it would be my favorite as well

Sterling Tobacco White Tail Aromatic or Sterling Double Eagle top my list of every day aromatics when I have them, the ones I have on hand that are daily smokers, Casey Jones Hero's Blend and a Hazlenut bulk from somewhere. I also have a number of aros that came unlabled so I really dont know what they are when I smoke them!

As to Hazelnut, if it's Lane, give Low Country (SPC) a try. I found it much better.

If your seeking a Hazelnut fix, McClelland's new offering: Nutty Hazel is VG. They really got the Hazelnut dialed in. Not too much, not too little and worth sampling if you like this flavor ingredient.

Mine is Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend. Mine would be the same. Also Sutliff Mixture 79 and any of the various SG or GH blends I love.

If I had to smoke one daily, it would be GH Rum Twist. That is one of my top 10 tobaccos and a favorite overall but its definitely not an aromatic just because it's got some rum in it! An aromatic really has to have black cavendish in it. Even GH flakes really aren't aromatics but are mostly scented with top notes. Of course, it's skewed on who believes what is an aromatic, but typically a top noting is not what makes an aromatic but a mixture with black cavendish flavored is. Ennerdale is also a tobacco I smoke regularly and would be number 1 pn my list if I really considered it an aromatic and not a scented VA flake. And really I'm just musing, it's just how I am. If a top noting or a casing made a smoke an aromatic then every single tobacco is an aromatic on that spectrum. I'm just being pedantic.

If you were to see my stash, you would see that a little Rum and / or Lakeland is as close as it gets! Lol 😃

Yeah I figured based off your posts. Our cellars probably look really similar. GH & Co. and C&D are my favorite houses and I love twists, flakes, and plugs.

Peterson Connoisseur's Choice. There's plenty to keep me occupied throughout the whole smoke, and it's light enough to enjoy regardless of place & time. Also tastes just like it smells in the tin... what can I say, I'm a fan.

I don't smoke every day, but the aros I reach for most are Boswell's Piper's Pleasure, Vanilla Cream Flake, and Lane Dark Red. And I went through my sample of Cult Abacus surprisingly quickly.
Less often but equally enjoyed are Firedance Flake, and McClelland McTruffle.

Although not a daily smoke, my favorite aromatic is Sir Walter Raleigh Aromatic. Second in rank is Lane's Burley Light Without a Bite (BL/WB).

Hardly ever smoke aros (unless of course you count EGR as one ) Two nice ones which I smoke from time to time: MacBaren Original Choice (thanks, Charl!) and Ashton Winding Road.

It only has one recent review on TR, the guy didn't like it. But what's not to like about those famous McC VAs and Orientals, BC, and vanilla and chocolate topping? There can't be many aros with Orientals out there (not counting lat-crossovers), and they really make it work.

McClelland goes somewhat unheralded for aromatics. Another misnamed offering is MCRASPBERRY, that and Raspberries in Cream are 2 VG berry entries, both as good as Lane Black Raspberry. When finances allow, I like their tinned Premium Aromatic line as well.

When finances allow, I like their tinned Premium Aromatic line as well. I didn't love Lane Raspberry, but might try McC's versions. Their VBC certainly better than BCA to my taste. Maybe not as smooth, but more flavorful. The only tinned aro of theirs I've tried is the Oldchurch revival, and it's pretty good - nothing to complain about, but not great.
