It's been raining all day and we have had about 6" with another 4" by midnight. We are at the top of a hill that slopes down 90' to Cypress Creek at the no end of the subdivision. We are in no danger of flooding, but we are saturated. Anyway, my wife and I just stepped out on the front porch and the frogs are so loud that we couldn't hear each other yelling from a foot apart. Truculentfrogs would be proud.

Glad to hear you are not getting flooded out & staying dry!
I was hoping you, other pipers & the regular folk in the area were doing okay.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ! You sure are a noisy critter! Actually the frogs here have either all gotten mates, died of exhaustion, and, most probably, drowned.

Actually, I have experienced similar. While hitchhiking in my wayward youth, I was stranded outside of Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico. There had been a recent flood and in the aftermath, literally 1'000's of Frogs covered the highway. Not much of a chorus but they made a horrific squishing sound as cars and semi trucks ran over them.
