I just opened a tub of Heine's Blend and shards of tobacco were visibly jumping around under the clear seal. No tobacco beetles seen, didn't empty it, so hoping some mouse didn't hitch a ride from Virginia. I guess it is some kind of static generated between handling and breaking the seal? Have not encountered this on other clear seal tubs. This is my first go with Heine's blend and I guess the formulation is bursting with freshness.

Popped a tub of EGR that also has the clear plastic seal and it was normal. Guess Edward G. Robinson is more composed than its stablemate.

I've seen similar with static but can't think of a tobacco that's done it fresh from a tub but have seen it in sample ziplock bags of dry tobacco.

I would say static caused that...
