Never understood why every physician wants to do these when colon cancer causes 8% of deaths. 54% of people die from heart disease but no one wants to do a $400 plaque test which will reveal the percentage of blockage in all the main arteries. This test should be done on everyone at age 30, 40, etc. But they don't practice preventative medicine, you have to wait till you have a heart attack before something is done. I don't get it.

Colonoscopy juice is pretty wicked stuff. Everything is fine unti it's not and you better be ready.
My VA doc makes me come in for a blood work and check up every year too. That should be a regular for everybody.

I liked the cleansing process. Books, magazines and my laptop, I was good "to go", so to speak.

When I had my Prostate Cancer surgery, I prepped, drank that crap, and Surgery was canceled, Drs father died, Surgery was canceled, reschuled, prepped again, Surgery canceled, surgery reschuled for the third time, Surgery was canceled, I grabbed the Drs apron pulled him to me laying on the roller bed, and said You Sonabitch you're gonna kill me with the shite you prep me with. The Fourth time was a go, but it had spread so Radiation city I went. That was almost 20 yrs ago. You can't keep a good man down.

I took the new and improved approach. Two church warden size bristle brushes and a return envelope for the samples. I almost thought of saving the bristle brushes but decided that was a really crappy idea.
