Hot earl grey on the side to help calm the angry throat. Mr 3 is napping finally and when he wakes up we get to pick up one of his favorite people, his brother.

Smoked some Ennerdale Flake in the Merkur 2000 bent heeled apple this afternoon while driving around for work. It cooled down substantially today as soon as it hit the first of September, and with that the Ennerdale was tasting even better driving around with the windows down. About 68 degrees Fahrenheit this afternoon. About to smoke something else shortly. Feel better soon, Maggie. I do believe half to an entire bottle of whiskey should do the trick!

Starting September with PSLTF in a Savinelli Twist wide-bowl 1/4 bent billiard. Community offer, neat. That's the perfect start to the month my friend. I had back to back bowls in my IlCeppo half bent billiard. First was kendel flake and the second Sambuca. Just got home from a cat journey, now for some Serenity....

Enjoying a mix of ODF and PH Golden Sliced in the flea market Special. Drinking what we used to call a "poor man's mocha". Regular coffee with hot chocolate mix. I used Stephen's Mexican Chocolate mix.

I've been itching for some Haunted Bookshop and Rum Twist all week and Troy's thread on twists and plugs pushed me over the edge. This chunk of GH & Co. Rum Twist has been in the jar for 14 months and smells totally different than fresh. Tin had a good pop and smells of strongly fermented Virginia. I'm in for a treat I do believe. It's going into a Bonnie Brier Rum Twist pipe that is not in the picture.
