D&r london dock in the mastro de paja classica rusticated billiard. Still the same finger of rye. Bout to pour a different rye for the next one just to taste the differences. The jury is still out on london dock, but its a fruity taste that I dont do very often and that I have to figure out whether I dig it or not still.

Last of my sample of Dunhill flake from the wonderful kraken in the bst forever bowl. Jim beam rye neat and agua with floaty little bergs in the insulated water bottle. Tracking the latest ebay find and waiting impatiently for usps to move my stuff since it was supposed to be here today. Ah well hopefully tomorrow bigger things to worry about than usps being slow one time. I'm also plotting my revenge against the local deer herd. Deer season starts oct 1 around here and a stick and string is my weapon of choice. Have to make time to refill the freezer this year its a little bare.

Not to get too sappy here, but it's been over 10 days since I've had a bowl of briar smokin goodness.
Had a family medical emergency and had to fly outta town last week.
So this evening, after getting home and having dinner with the Blonde, I decided to make my way up to the mancave and have a bowl of MM965 in one of my Dr. Grabow Bent Bulldogs.
Man! What a great smoke. Can't tell you guys how much I've missed enjoyin a nice smoke and a sip of Scotch.

Unfortunately my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer last month. After starting her first round of chemo she had a couple of strokes. The second one was a doosy and she was paralyzed on the right side of her body. She's out of the Stroke ICU and is now on to physical therapy/rehab. It's gonna be a long road to recovery. But things are definitely looking up. Dino

Well Pipe Fans, tonight I decided to treat myself to my first ever bowl of Balkan Sobranie. I was fortunate enough to pick up a couple of 2012 tins from a fellow piper.
All I can say is.... Awesome!
I obviously can't make any comparisons to the original, but this stuff is great. Obviously I'm a fan of Balkan's and English's, but this will definitely be in my normal rotation.
Enjoyin it in one of my Bent Bulldogs and sippin Glenrothes.

Good morning Ladies & Gentlemen from the sunny Athens-Greece. First of all i would like to thank you all for the psychological support in my father's health problem, your posts and pm's are much appreciated. It was a very difficult moment for all of us because was one step away from septic shock that could kill him and everybody changed the way of life [night and day] to be close to take care of him. Thank God he got out from the Intensive Care, he recovered enough in the hospital and now is on the way back home for full recovery. Skandinavik Vanilla. I said above about Home so here is a photo from our rotisserie in my family home, you can see my grandmother's oil vase, a 5th BC century piece from our ancestors in our ancient village and a piece from a volcano which is in my island.

An after breakfast smoke of C&D's Blockade Runner in a Karl Erik 2SM. Black, black coffee in a large white mug. Irrigation water from the diversion dam is shut off today in order to sluice the river. So, I have the day to myself. First completely free day in five months. So, I hope to make good use of it. Enjoy your Saturday.
