I've been as busy as a cat with two tails in a room full of rocking chairs lately with little time to smoke and no time to post. That changes today at least for the day as Miss Daisy has given me the day off.
Just finished smoking Park Lane's Sherlock in a Falcon and a cup of Community coffee, neat. Time for a refill and to find something else to smoke.

Quiet morning so far. Was up at 7 AM after a wonderful evening with friends, food and drink.
We have a friend that is in town stopping by for breakfast and then not sure what the rest of the day will bring. Loaded a bowl of Half & Half in a Scottie long shank Billiard. 3rd cup of coffee on the side.

Been up for about an hour. First smoke of the day is my own Day Off in the flea market Special. French pressed Cafe Verona on the side. There's that special essence in every home-made blend ... you can taste the love. Joining BK with the same Cafe Verona coffee, drip for me, and a blend of cigar and flake scraps in an MM Country Gent.

Smoking Revor plug in a GBD billiard drinking some Starbucks Veranda.
I think this song so accurately describes my dad on Sunday mornings as I grew up, and I believe that it also was that of his father...I like a drink just as much as anyone, but I am glad that the cycle ended.

Smoking Revor plug in a GBD billiard drinking some Starbucks Veranda. a bit off topic: about 15-17 years ago I was still partying pretty hard. weekends I'd wake up in places that I did not live. a lot of times I would wake at my friend Willis'. problem is that I can't sleep well at other peoples houses. I wake up and just stare at things until they wake up, or I'd just leave. one Saturday night me, Willis, and his roommates were out partying. closed down the bar at 2:00am, got off-sale before we left the bar. walked about 1 1/4 miles through the frozen western South Dakota wasteland to their house. we were up for another few hours drinking cheap beer and cheaper wine. I woke up about 7:30 in the morning, staring at the wall. I noticed the 30 pack of Old Mil sitting on the floor. I thought, "What the hell, I have today off." and opened one. about 8:30-ish Willis woke up to use the bathroom. he had to go by the living room. as he walked in I handed him a beer and just said, "Beer?" he asked how long I'd been up and I told him. he asked why I didn't turn on the radio or TV and I told him I didn't want to wake anyone. he popped open the beer and put "Sunday Morning Coming Down" on the stereo. when one of his roommates woke up, we'd hand them a beer and start the song over. Sunday Morning Breakfast was short lived tradition.
