Really love everything about that pipe. I'm not saying that to be polite - really like that pipe. You deserve it.

Will do! Take a look at Mr. Heckmanns website. Although it is only in German there are some georgous pipes to see: www.hh-pipes.com/

I did look at his website. His pipes look beautiful and his prices are very reasonable. I'll wait for your review of the pipe before seriously considering a purchase.

That was what I was thinking too. If you are going to order I am happy to assist. I have no idea if Mr. Heckmann speaks English.

I'm sure he understands Paypal, Frank, but thanks for the offer. I may take you up on that.

I looked through all his pipes and would have picked the exact same one you did. Didn't hurt it was one of the cheapest, at $222 US dollars. Cool guy.

Oh, where did you find it? It´s the first time he made a pipe like mine. Although he made a batch of four the others are not on his website yet. They will be polished, not sandblasted and their name is "Freehand 224". Mine was Euro 240,--.

This one is even better - it´s a reverse calabash! I already have one of his RC´s.

I went to his site. Beautiful craftsmanship. My biggest concern was weight. The one I went to immediately turned out to weigh 107g. Random sampling of 8-10 showed none below 58g, with most being in the 70g+ range. I like mine less than 45g. Less than 40 is even better.
But again, beautiful craftsmanship.
Thanks for sharing.

Yes, probably no good clenching pipes but with that amount of wood they don´t tend to smoke hot that easily. Of course the RC´s are on the large side for incorporating the chamber.
