Thanks for all the well wishes everyone  As far as looking forward to my tobacco reviews, no you shouldn't be; I suck. Jim can tell you there's a hint of anise with some licorice overtones and a haylike base, and all I taste is Ooh, tobbaccoey! Yeah, you don't want my tobacco reviews. |

Get this gang. She wanted me to do some monkey work, just a bunch of data entry on five of her sites. We expected it to take several days. I left her house with the mission at 2:30PM, and I had it all done by sunrise. Then, I fixed all the issues and broken links on all the websites, and had that done by noon. I said hey, the Cowboys season opener is Sunday night, is there any way you could buy me a six-pack of tasty beer for the game? Not Bud Lite or Coors Lite, but imported or craft beer. She just showed up with a six-pack of Guinness and a six-pack of Shiner Bock. I look in the bags and there was a card. On the front it said Thank You, and inside was $100 in twenties. Haven't had that much money in years. I tell you, I have the best boss in the world. I'm sitting here at home in my stretchy pants, smoking my pipe and drinking a Guinness, and designing websites on my pc. You can't beat that Best job, best boss ever. |

If I get to work from home (only!), for a chick as awesome as this one, I don't think I'd take double the salary to work for a normal company, with it's office politics and people you don't like! Hey, just realized I get to smoke at my desk! I am one lucky bastard I love that attitude. Along with many bone injuries I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I won't pay 3K/month for the Prime Time TV meds and the old ones don't work. But... I am home all day, which is a blessing most of the time. I can smoke when my wife stops hitting me. Mostly, I can read, look up things, and learn. Everyday is interesting to me. And I feel lucky, too. I think if you need to talk/message someone this group will be responsive. David |
