My Guess..At those prices they must be pretty old. Yeah.... it has been awhile sinc a briar sold for under 50 cents. Nice score! Do you know the back story on these, like if the seller bought them himself, is he a collector, etc?

That is remarkable and the condition is beyond belief. I'd guess that they could date from the 1930's to the late 1940's just based on the style of the artwork. The only dates on any of these is the patent date on one of the Medico displays and the patent date is 1935 on it.

I've been checking these out closer and I believe if I'm correct that anything that is marked "Imported Briar" is after WWII.

The board on the first one in first pic is a Deco design, which (to me) would indicate older. Yet I defer to Ron on the Imported Briar comment. Looks like they were put together like cobs.
Same pic, the third one has colors and patterns from late 20's, but they may have continued to use the same printing plates and design for much later. Same with my above comment.
