A whole boneless pork loin was thrown on the grill a few hours ago. Sliced it up and had it with green beans and rice & gravy.
While it was cooking I cooked some deer sausage given to me by a friend. Although I dont hunt anymore, I still enjoy eating it.

A nice burger made with ground round for lunch. Onions and Muenster Cheese on a Whole Wheat Bun.
Good to have an appetite once again.
I'm glad to hear your appetite has returned. It's hard to beat a REAL burger.

I'll have to plan it out and smoke a boston butt to bring down to yall one day soon.

Making steel cut oatmeal with brown sugar & real maple syrup so I can take my early morning meds. A mug of fresh brewed Green Mountain Columbian coffee ☕️ on the side.

...making a pot of homemade chili for dinner...based on another thread, I bought some Keebler saltine crackers to see if they are any better than Nabisco...

I love it, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, or just because there happens to be rice and gravy... I will eat it.

About to make lunch/brunch(for me haha I get up at 2 and go to bed around 6-7AM.) Bob Evans' Hot sausage and eggs. This sausage is so good. I can't imagine ever going back to the sage flavour, unless I were making gravy for biscuits.

If you add beans you created a full meal. I like beans as well.
Hell, I like food.

Making a rib eye steak and black beans and rice. Coffee and a smoke after. I think Dorchester is a good blend for after a dinner like this.

Ah, now I remember...Muenster Cheese...I just saw the rind and remembered...I loved it. Just haven't had any in a long time...time to get reacquainted with it. Martin, that combination sounds delightful...melon in particularly hits the spot with cheese.

Toasted slice of oatmeal bread topped with almond butter and strawberry preserves. A tall mug of Taylor’s English Breakfast black tea steeping alongside. That will do for tonight 👍👍

Baked chicken wings and yellow rice. Pieces of my mustache as well. They always seem to get forced into the corners of my mouth while eating wings.

Some Korean ramyun that was repulsive. Smelled exactly like dog food that had hot water poured over it. I can't read Hangul, so occasionally I get varieties I'm not too fond of. haha Veggie dumplings were nice. Running through my perishables before I can start this keto diet.

My order of Double Devosnhire Cream did not arrive as promissed owing to the chicken hearted crew of Fed Ex. It seems they fear snow, live and work in the southern Rockies but, snow? No, thank you. Their new company slogan: "None Shall Pass". Here, I saved oatcakes patiently waiting for Devonshire Cream. No joy. Perhaps I shall receive my order some sunny day when they emerge from their dark depot and take to the road.

Earlier this afternoon, I prepared a pot of blackeye peas, with various other items to drop-in (including some IPA to get the juices going): In addition, I made some cornbread from a box of Krusteaz Honey Cornbread mix. Cut a portion of cornbread in half, a couple of cooking spoons of beans dumped on top, and basically, big time YUM toshtego btw, Muenster is my all-time favorite cheese. We go back a long ways!

Coffee on the side and we're starting Saturday morning off right!
