Going to toast half a bagel and top with cream cheese and homemade strawberry preserves that were sent to me by a friend from NY. His wife makes many superb fresh fruit preserves......especially peach.....which will be coming some time in August once again πππ So some of that brie and the preserves and maybe some crushed toasted walnuts, oh man....0 When she makes her fig preserves my friend sends me a couple of jars. Goes well on a bagel with cream cheese πππ

Graeter's black raspberry with chocolate chips...if you have never heard of this ice cream...ya gotta try it. Found it in Walmart, of all places...ice cream made in the old French tradition in 2 gallon French pots...best ice cream I have ever eaten. $6.00 for a pint...but it is worth every spoonful.

Breakfast was a fried egg, ham splices and cheese on whole wheat toast.
Lunch is going to be a "Nourish Bowl" which is some kind of innovation in supermarket prepared salad marketing. Vegies, noodles and some kind of protein source with a sauce packet in a bowl. Heat and serve. We shall see....

Just ate my first sugar-free gummy bears. Irony abounds. Their calorie content means one can eat their fill, yet they are so sweet, I had trouble finishing the small package. Wait until you experience the gastric results of your folly! πππ€

Today is my exβs birthday. Besides taking her out for dinner once weβre both up to it I had a special cake made for her special day. Hers will be topped with Mayfield caramel crunch ice cream. Dessert will be served around 9:45pm. What do you think she will complain about?
