I went... but did not get any pictures sorry.
I will write a little something up when my eyes are not crossed from looking at paperwork.
Sit tight!

So... at Dave's request, here is a little rundown of the show. Let me preface this with the fact that I have spent the last several days on the phone, emailing and texting with my real estate agent, so admittedly, my attention was diverted yesterday.
From a vendor standpoint, it was definitely better than last year. Last year a snowstorm the day before impacted vendor attendance for sure. Almost an entire aisle of tables sat empty. This year, every inch of table space was covered. Attendance was impressive as it was elbow to elbow when I got there. Glad to see a smaller scale show like this do so well.
There was a nice mix of estate pipes, custom carvers and tobacco manufacturers. Our friends from Standard Tobacco were in attendance with samples of the John Cotton's blends, Bengal Slices and War Horse Ready Cut. Reps from Lane and C&D were handing out samples as well. Tim Thorpe, Joel Skoda and Premal from Smokers Haven were all in attendance. Neil Flancbaum from Smokin Holsters had a table right next to the representatives from Savinelli.
My time at the JR after party was short this year, but there was a nice little turnout mostly represented by the NY/NJ/PA crew. Good fun as always and I enjoy getting to spend time and chat with these guys.
I would say it was a successful show, but the boys from the NY Pipe Club could probably speak to that better than I.

A few additional notes. I had the great pleasure of meeting Lou Carbone, of the New York Pipe Club. It was nice to finally place a real face to a name. Also, Sean (doverpipes) who has yet to join our little band of merry pipers here. I have known Sean from other sites, but it was nice to meet him in person and have some time to chat.
I'm sure there are others that will come to mind...

Thanks for posting, Dave. God I look awful. The lighting in there was horrible, lol.

The show was indeed much better than last year. There was a steady stream of attendees and almost every table was occupied. But it did slow down considerably by 3pm. If the promoters would do some promoting (like a FB page, email campaign, chat it up on the forums) they could easily double the size and attendance of the show. Here's a pic of me and Simon yakking it up with a customer: OK, I'm yakking, Simon is snoozing.

Thank you, Justin, the pleasure was all mine! It was great to finally meet you as well. Glad we had an opportunity to hang out after the show at JR in Whippany. I thought it was the best show in recent memory. There's plenty of photos at the NY Club's website, thanks to various photographers, none of them me, though! They can be found on our photos page here: www.newyorkpipeclub.com/content.aspx?page_id=187&club_id=415823
