I did my best to make this look artsy here on the bed. Alas, David the Younger's pic is mightier and more fit. However, since being in the pipe community I have been totally taken aback and today is no different. Several Aros new to me, all smelling wonderfully, topped off by this wonderful gift of a Lavender Pipe. M'lady, on bended knee you have my loyalty and gratitude. I will raise my pipe and glass of grog with joy and thanks as often as the Dear Lord allows! David PS - I feel so inspired to get that Lavender Garter Belt I've always wanted. YMCA, Let's go to the YMCA. They have everything for a man to enjoy, you can hang out with all the boyz. Young men, there's no need to feel down...

So cool ... what a great surprise! 😊 Especially when my doctor came by with his nurse I call Burley and deemed me fit to keep the pipe lit. He's of the opinion that at my age it won't hurt. He also told me he'd get in trouble for saying that. What a guy!

Lady M is awesome Unfortunately though, with me being stuck at home with my pc the last seven years, I don't think there are any dragons left!

That is pretty awesome, do you smoke aro's very much?
I always find it kind of strange how aro's totally dominate the industry in what sells. And....how it seems that most pipe smokers that frequent forums and pipe clubs tend to smoke non aro's most of the time.
At least that is the way that I perceive it.

Charlie, Pipestud in one of his reviews for tobacco reviews stated that aro smokers must be the kindest around for all the guff they get but never return.
I like both kinds, but finding the right aro is more of a challenge than finding a nic hit. Lady Margaret's sampler should bring me to the end of that road.
I already had my evening bowl laid out, but on the morrow I will be smoking that Lavender Cob with one of her samples, thanking God for such friends and friendliness.
This forum does not seem to have an anti-aro faction, btw

Yeah, it is silly that such a notion exist's past a good natured banter or ribbing.

Guys don't know the color lavender. We do know blue, because it's the Dallas Cowboys' color. And green, because that's the Dallas Stars.

I do know my colors, but the room had been dimly when I made that post. I still call it the Lavender Lady. I was gifted a Chinese name by my friends for my work in Asian American studies. See image below that translates to Lavender Tranquility. And, a side note, Like Lady Margaret it was a fave song growing up. I used to sing it to Jill McDermott in Kindergarten. My Official Chinese Name. I can even sign checks with it.

I did that at a party once. Did I say I didn't have many friends when I was younger?

I wanted to show our boys how to do that, but my wife said no. We have 2 boys but it seems like she's raising 3. Bwahahaha!

I'm the most spoiled of the wife's 4 kids, the dogs follow in a close second, while the 3 yo is probably the best behaved. I live for the eye roll or a glare and slap. I dont feel like I'm holding up my end of the bargain if shes not questioning my sanity a couple times a day.
