Worse are the ads on Facebook. Facebook is soooooo superior. They ban everything but allow ads like Mel Gibson died. I thought it was a news link. Had to shut my PC down as it put in a virus that was tricky to get out.

Now that I have to manage my bosses Facebook page, and having heretofore avoided it like the plague, I nevertheless signed up for an account so I'd have a training environment in which to play, so I wouldn't be messing with Amy's real data. It's even worse than I realized.

After signing up, I just fortunately happened to notice it had searched for and uploaded all my contacts in my frigging email account, and by default was sharing them with everyone publicly. Really pissed me off. Also, it has friended me with two people I don't know, one guy whose name is in Chinese characters, so I couldn't have typed that in to Friend him if I'd wanted to, and some chick in Nebraska who every three minutes posts a meme about witchcraft. Also really pissed me off.

I feel confident saying I'm sure it has gone thorough all the files on my pc, and uploaded anything it wanted.

Hate hate hate Facebook.

Quite often the clickbait ads depend on titillation that seem out of place for the websites that allow it... it really cheapens the host site, but the allure of that kind of cash is pretty alluring I reckon.
