Hi all. Late last night I placed an order for a couple pipe accessories. Woke up this morning and it had already shipped. Eddie, from the Pipe Nook is a really nice guy. Does not have a ton of inventory yet, but his prices are competitive. His MM prices are pretty cool. Has a nice selection of Rossi Pipes. Checked a couple Sav prices and he was right in there. Shipping was 5$. I bought a tamper for 3$ less than I could find elsewhere. I'm hoping he will join here as he seems ready to discuss stuff. www.thepipenook.com/

I had been subscribed to their YouTube channel and didn't know it, as I have not had a lot of time to listen to podcasts. You have to admire a proud father that puts his child in his business picture.\ www.youtube.com/channel/UCXzyR0jVHvYfmhg9YQBMZHg

I have heard from more than one person that Rossi pipes are a great value...well made Savinelli seconds that are every bit as good as the Sav.

The one I had been looking at was less expensive on the Nook. Eddie's idea is not to be big, so God bless him if he can do it playing small ball. I love that

That dude is definitely getting a pipe order from me; cool site, I wish him success. Anyone who sells stuff for $40 and not $39.95 gets my vote.

Someone needs to get him to join here. We can feature his site on the front page. Maybe help him out a bit.

I invited Eddie. He has not answered, so I will wait a few days and email instead of using his contact page.

Got my order from Eddie today. I splurged on an MM Freehand and a few accessories. I really like the guy and service, and he is looking into a few tobaccos for me

Hi, Everyone! Eddie Gray here with The Pipe Nook. I really appreciate the interest and the kind words, and a big thanks to David for the invite! The Pipe Nook is a labor of love that I began in early 2016, with a handful of Pipe Brands that I personally smoke and recommend. In early 2017, I also began carrying pipe tobacco, with the same driving philosophy. My goal is to be the "Virtual Brick & Mortar" for my "Virtual Pipe Club," since I know very few people in my town who smoke pipes. The Pipe Nook idea was born out of seeing the last local pipe shop in my hometown close up shop after Christmas of 2015. I surmised there must be plenty of other small to mid-sized towns out there that are in the same boat...a handful of pipe smokers, and nowhere locally to buy pipes and tobaccos, or to hang out, share & learn new info, etc. The Pipe Nook strives to be that place in the online environment. I never intend for it to be a "Big Box" store, but rather to be a place that is informative and easily accessible to new and experienced pipe smokers alike. I've thought of actually including a forums section as part of my site, but why re-invent the wheel when online hangouts like The Briar Patch already exist? So I'm glad to be here and to take part in the community! I'm usually pretty busy in my spare time, updating The Pipe Nook site and my YouTube channel of the same name, but I'll be checking in from time to time. Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks again!

Welcome, Eddie! I am getting ready to light up my MM Freehand delivered yesterday. Sometimes being smaller is a blessing. I have been deciding on tempers for about six months. Then I saw that you had only one left of the type I wanted. That made the decision for me. Really hope you enjoy the company here. David

Welcome to the site Eddie! Expect an uptick in sales from the folks here; as soon as I get paid (on commission, so don't know when), I plan on adding a pipe or two from your selection. Site looks good, and I like your philosophy.

Good idea, if you had a forum you would have to ride herd on everyone... and your skills of diplomacy and understanding would have to exceed that of Mahatma Ghandi. Comments made in bad taste on your forum would be attributed to you.... if the postal service damaged a tin of tobacco instead of contacting you it is easier to flame out on the forum... and it goes on from there...

Been surfing this morning for a few flavors. Have wanted to ask Eddie about We Three Kings and Golden Days of Yore. I ordered some C&D blends, and even though P&C has a 20% sale, the few bucks I save in shipping from Eddie make up the difference. A bigger point is realizing Eddie's Philosophy may be a cure for TAD. It was easier to choose from his blends than driving myself nuts elsewhere. And, if he can get a couple blends I asked about then I don't have to worry about driving my bills up to get free shipping. It's nice when you are flush, but some times of the year for retired folk are a little rougher than others.

Well, I'm straying away from carrying holiday pipes or blends, since my sales aren't such that I'm certain I wouldn't be stuck with a bunch of stock after the holiday interest fades. But if you're interested in a special order of those blends, I can certainly look into it! Just contact me through the site contact page how much of each you would like, when you're ready. Thanks for today's order!
