I always enjoy Shane's articulate well-delivered pipe tobacco reviews, but am always somehow stricken by his ever-present lack of lit pipe-smoke presence after each empty puff he takes. Is he dry puffing an unlit bowl to perhaps jog his flavor-profile memory, or perhaps only to lend a warm theatrical effect to his thoughtful demeanor? Please don't misunderstand my unqualified critique... I just dare to think that, perhaps, Shane's reviews would exhibit a greater aire of credibility if his contemplative on-
camera puffs added wafts of smoke to the visual ambiance.
