The Carrie Fisher-Debbie Reynolds Estate is auctioning off a ton of movie memorabilia. Included in that is Edward G. Robinson's pipe and cigar cabinet, plus a bunch of his pipes. Starting bid is $3,000. No chance I can buy it, but I thought some of you would want to see it. Of course, all you super rich muckity mucks with those big Fort Knox and illegal Swiss bank accounts are very welcome to buy it for me for Christmas. No. Really. You can. Believe me, I'll find a place for it in my den. No problem. Kidding aside, how many of you would like to own one like I would? Wow!!!!!!!

Based on pics, I'd pass, even in a yard sale at a reasonable price. Nothing there does anything for me but that's JMHO.

I bet that sleek Dublin on the bottom is a great flake pipe.

Group buy? I'm digging the bent meer top center, and the slanty billiard bottom left - what's that shape called? Can anyone ID the makers, or does it say in the aution description? And I wonder if that box of Montecristos has been stored at proper humidification? I doubt it.... but if so, the lot would be worth more than $3k.

Just before the oil skiddown, they did a very detailed seismic hunt for oil on my farm, helicopters and all, looked very promising. Then the downturn, what I'm trying to say if my well had come in I would have bought it for you as I know your love for this. But you have Mr Dillion's pipes, that's a nice thing.

Even Chester was jealous of me owning a Conrad Charatan. Doc Addams couldn't be reached for comment.

Were they to offer the pipes and cabinet separately, I think the final selling price would be higher.
