I was asked on another forum if there is a story behind this ROPP - there is:
I inherited the ROPP from my best friend of 45 years who passed away 2 years ago. Never saw him smoke it - only saw it perched on his bookshelf for many many years. It remains one of many reminders that Joe left behind, to not take anything or anyone for granted, and to appreciate all or as little of what we have in possessions and in friendships. The story with this one, therefore, is great!

That's a great story to go with a very cool pipe. Even if you never smoke it, it has it's own value and purpose, and that makes it priceless.
