I had a lot of trouble getting here seems my initial username and password for some reason refused to work with my iPad Pro so here I am as bambooshank. You know me as fishnbanjo or just plain banjo and hopefully with a little luck I’ll be able to get in again and hopefully contribute something, regards. banjo

Hey, glad to see you here. Haven't seen you since the 2013-14 rift at PSF. Still remember a lot of the super nice pipes you've got and some of the mixtures you made. Anyway, good to see you here.

You look very familiar to me. Seems like I have seen you smoking many fabulous pipes. Is that correct?
Welcome aboard.

Good to see you here banjo! I used a different user name here because... hell I don't know why I used a different name. But my pipe is still agnostic.

Like many here we found ourselves on the outside looking in at the place that caused a major rift. I still shake my head in wonder never quite wrapping my head over being banned there, the only real concern was the many friends I had made there that have seemingly been lost to the netherworld which I lamented dearly.
I have continued to grow my collection and am currently working on obtaining a representative Drip Wax pipe from all the companies and Pipemakers that offered them over the years. I currently have 2 on commission with 2 more to follow, couple this with those I own already and I will be short 1 and that is by Castello. I’ve only seen photos of Castello Drip Wax pipes, never physically handled one nor do I know anyone who owns one, if anyone knows of one for sale I’d appreciate a heads up on it, thanks again for the welcome and any information on a Castello Drip Wax pipe, warmest regards. banjo

Welcome back banjo! I echo your sentiments about that other place exactly. I have no clue. However, here we are at a seemingly very sane forum. Been admiring your collection on FB. Enjoy!

I see you post the same things on many of the pipe boards and groups I read daily. I know many of the guys going back years and might be able to help. Years ago I collected wax drips pipes but the only pipes I still have are my Castello Epoca's. Of the 40 plus Epoca's in the collection about half are the wax drip style. Here are 5 and one very rare rock style that has been on my radar for over 20 years that I've added to the collection during and since the Chicago show. These represent most or all of the drip carving styles from the early days, bottom left to the very last Epoca's carved in the mid 90's top center. You might have seen this before but I talk about the carving styles in this handout. docs.google.com/file/d/0B6S7CCGs1FPCS0tqN3hkOWJRYUE/edit
